2) Stay in Hong Kong for a couple of nights to adjust to the time zones.

3) March 12, 2006 - Fly from Hong Kong to Bangkok, Thailand. 4 hour bus trip to Chanthaburi for Home Stay with Swiss/Thai couple with 2 children.

March 16, 2006: Fly to Chiang Mai, Thailand. Stay in mountain cabanas, a craft center and a boutique spa & resort.

March 24, 2006: Fly from Chiang Mai to Bangkok

4) March 28, 2006 - Fly from Bangkok to Cape Town, S. Africa via Doha, Qatar

5) March 29, 2006 - Spend about 4 weeks in Cape Town and driving up the Garden Route. Stay in a family tent and game lodge while on safari at the Kruger National Park. Stay at an ostrich farm in Oudsthoorn, as well as the Elephant Park. Stay at the Lesedi Cultural Village to see a Traditional Dance display, tour the villages with a cultural host and learn more about African customs, and gather around the fire after dinner to hear African myths.

6) May 1, 2006 - Fly from Johannesburg to Windhoek Namibia.

7) Spend 1.5 weeks in Namibia in a clayhouse, desert lodge with adobe walls and canvas roof, a beach lodge near the seal colony and bush lodge.
